The last few weeks have been just plain ugh! Life gets stressful & expensive & I start to not cope. Last week my 'boss' (use that word loosely) was grumpy & in a blaming mode. Then the ole 'happy meds' run out & I didn't have the $$ to get the refills. So... we've been in holding mode until payday (Friday!) & the mom can start to feeling better again. J & B are pretty good at hanging in there with me, but then yesterday I sent John to take his shower & to grab a new bar of soap from the closet. He couldn't find it & the next thing I knew I hear the shelving from the closet come crashing down. Yep - he's climbed up on it & it came out of the wall & made a terrible mess. Time for bed...
Between Primary, kids, work, small living arrangements it just starts to become overwhelming & I just have to have a meltdown of sorts - a bit of a pity party or escape from reality. Last weekend I read 2 books just to escape from having to deal with reality. The cold weather has really been getting to me this year - everyone is starting to feel a bit stir crazy - too cold for kids to play outside.
On Sunday, the sun was at least shining & it was above 0 degrees so we went out for a walk. The boys got their old snow shoes out of the garage & they had fun racing across the lawn & climbing the snow piles.
